Arizona Diamondbacks Betting Odds For 2022 Season

With Spring Training coming to an end, it’s time for the Diamondbacks to dust off their cleats and prepare for opening day on April 7. The Arizona Diamondbacks’ sports betting odds for the 2022 season aren’t as promising as some other NL West teams as they look towards a transition year.

Arizona Diamondbacks Season Preview

The Diamondbacks ended last season with one of the worst records in all of baseball at 52-110. They struggled with their pitching and hitting along with injuries all season. The Snakes are looking to improve this season and hit the .500 benchmark as they move young players through the system.

Fortunately for Arizona, it has one of the top farm systems and one of the best pitching coaches, Brent Storm. Along with most of the team, manager Torey Lovullo will be back.

Record after record: Arizona sports betting sets record with $564 million in January

Notable Roster Additions

The team added closer Mark Melancon, who led the National League in saves last season, with 39 when he was with the Padres. Arizona also added pitcher Ian Kennedy, who was a starter with the Diamondbacks in 2011. Kennedy had 26 saves last season.

The outfield is full of left-handed hitters, so last November the Snakes added a righty to the mix with Jordan Luplow, who hit 23 home runs against left-handed pitchers last season.
